Im going car crazy right now. Much more fun than Neo Geo crazy like i was a week ago but much more expensive. I watched the first few eps of Manga video's rerelease, The Guyver. Wow, its much better than i had remember it. Wario.

Shinyaku Seiken Densetsu, the remake of Seiken Densetsu (the prequel to the game we all know and love, Secret Of Mana/Seiken Densetsu3), is looking to be way delayed for its US release. Im digging the new look.


Capcom's Capcom Fighting All-Stars has been cancelled. At least for arcade. Boo!!

 

This guy's 2000 Integra GSR with a Skyline R34 front and end conversion kits. My god, this kid has sweetness in his ride. Now why is it that we here in the US get stuck with the stupid RSX S and in japan they still make the GSR?! At least the Evos are finally coming, albeit the short end of the stick, but still coming. Ive been wanting these BitChar-g special editions for the longest time. Now that Auto Modillista is almost out it makes the wait even worse.

Daredevil. By now most of you probably have seen it, no?

Well, lets put it short. I liked it. It wasnt a good movie. Whoa whoa whoa, did i say that correctly there? I think i did... Hmm. Ok, i meant to say it wasnt a BAD movie. It was in a warm middle somewhere. Yeah. The direction left me not really caring about what was going on with the characters. Things happened, people did things, justice was served. Where's the human emotion in any of this. Ok, so it didnt help that Jennifer Garner and Ben "bomb in phantoms" Affleck had little to no real chemestry. I really wanted something to happen where they finally saw eye to eye and something sparked making things all happy, but no. Nothing. Well, one point there was. The instant Electra knows she is beating the SHIT outta Affleck. It still all in all was a fun watch but ONLY cause i was a fan of the character somewhat. The only character that i thought was at all an interesting watch was Colin Farrell who lets his Irish dialect out to walk. I laughed at how he dealt with things the whole time. But i think, in this case, it was on purpose, unlike everyone else. Joey Pant' was wasted. My 9 bucks was almost wasted had it not been for the fact i wasnt in my right mind at the time. Something i think makes every outing fun. Something id see once. Never own.

 

Someone had emailed me awhile ago asking if i had known of a way to run EMUs on my XBox at the time i told em 'get back to me'. Here ya go!

Why am i getting so excited about this movie? Willard looks like something ive not seen in a small while in cinema maybe? I dunno, i guess ill check it out when it comes out. Crispin Glover's in it. Uh, it has some rats.

Wonderful. I just did horribly on my Japanese Mid-term. I couldn't, for the life of me, remember some of the simplest fucking things. Ugh... oh well. I'll just have to do good on the final. So... I've decided I'm going to be keeping up with what the hell is going on in the world. For the longest time, I've been completely hidden away in the cave that is 'As You Like It'. And as a promise to myself, I went to CNN.com... and looked around. The two most interesting little facts I found, were about a missile... and pot. It seems that we (the United States... or whatever) have surveillance evidence of a ballistic missile in North Korea. Those are the guys that send us cookies every first Thursday of the month. By estimation, it's range is long enough to hit... MY FUCKING CHAIR! Or... in better words... the U.S.' west coast. But, don't worry about California... we'll be floating out into the Pacific soon. Boy will that missile be surprised when it hits Arizona! Oh man! I wish I could be there to see the look on its face!

 

*Ahem* The other tidbit I found, was that the guy in the Dell commercials (lovingly named 'Dell Dude' by CNN.com), was arrested for a routine 420. Yup, you guessed it... marijuana possession. Who'd have fucking thought that guy smoked weed?! When will the corruption end?!!!!

Allow me now the attention to exposit my undying hatred for the thing for which man has created. Thus called the SUV. Man took unto his fellow with this, the SUV, in hopes of creating an unruly, overpriced man-machine with only the thought of havoc on it's gas guzzling mind. Man sought to repeat the iron-forged hellatry of the sunken damns of hell, a vessel for the same such hell for the normals we call "Brain Users". He hath succeeded. And who to maintain these incredible monsters but single-cell beings we call "Fuck-Heads". These "Fuck-Heads" are allowed to take these SUVs and disregard any and all laws regarded as safe among his former fellows, humans. Sony sent me a sort of Valentine's Day gift ideas email. I reckon they gonna tell you to buy you something of an electronic sort. Half the things on that same list are sure fire ways to make that sweetheart of yours to give you the sweetHURT. <rimshot> "Hey hun, look, I bought me- er, YOU a new Dvd-R drive for MY Vaio. Blood: the Last Vampire. So this is one of Production IG's SIDE projects?!

This has to be said first. It does feel too short. And yes, it is an hour and 25 minutes long (with extras, 45 mins or so feature), not too bad a length. Its just the going is so good and the pacing leaves you wanting more. Saya, the sword wielding vampire/vampire killer is one: Bad. Ass. See, most heroines with swords fight with style and finesse and look cute doing so but Saya does so with one strike and without nonsense. The lighting designer must have had a hellovatime lighting this flic. The seamless mix of cels and cg are perfectly constructed. I cant wait for their next projects. Being a Shirow Masamune fan its a wait almost unbearable.

Cap v SNK 2 for XBox is out today. XBox Live compatible. Full on internet stat tracking. Free online play. Me without a decent arcade stick.

CapcomUS has a new preorder site for Auto Modellista. Sweet. Hey, shin, they got your Integ in it (albeit a later tR version), i believe. This is that über, online, cel-shadded, change everything to the colors of each panel, even custom exhast system, networked by SEGA, sim/arcade game by capcom's new racing unit. My personal fav is the press-release noteing as a feature, "Sheer intensity". It also looks like there is a score of other great shit being added to the US version that never appeared in the japanese one. Better AI, more cars, more tracks, more shit that makes OUR version way better than YOUR version. Yeah im talking to YOU, Japan. All in all our version will probably be rereleased in japan packed with a brick of gold or something. The usual.

Got a chance to Play Vexx a few days before it comes out. From what i could gather it was somewhat fun though there was so much there it felt almost cluttered. The world seemed truly open-area sort of like Mario Sunshine only messy as hay-yell. There was so much to inhale i dont know if i can form a full analysis on it yet. Thats what i write, right? Formal analysis? Fine DONT answer. Pricks.

In his ever growing repertoire of irreverence Shin has decided to, while full knowing that the peace sign is normally palm side out, instead take the nay ridden road of irreverence once again by warily flipping the sign backwards. A sort of ode to the lack of peace of mind and war-ridden body this country has been in lately. Or maybe its to comment on the way the viewer might shoot the sign, switching the viewpoint onto the looker. This look, introverted, shows that we all want peace inside us. His long, proud nails illustrate this point and drives it home by saying, "We are who we ARE! We dont CARE what you think of us!". I salute you, sir. You are one brave young soul. Now where's DK to comment?

For those of you who wanted to see Shin's Bit Char-G custom builds here they are. He had sent them to me and i spent a great deal of a day trying to figure out what he had done. Had he made such meticulous and perfected modifications that they were not normally visible to the naked eye? Did i need special inviso-spetra-hypnoglasses just to see the attached greatness? Neither. Only tape. Sad huh?

What have they done? Id say they've created a monster but they had already before. This is the sequel. I cant wait :D

Queens of the Stone Age, so it turns out, is a rather good band.

Noted their latest efforts have come to fruition in an album called Songs for the Deaf. Amongst all the emo and pop-punk and horrible hip hop and pseudo-r+b ballads its good to hear something like this. Its like this gathering of loud smash rock is part 80's hair, part early 90's fuzz grudge, part simple hooks its stoner hard rock anthems. Somthing our ears have been sleeping and waiting to hear, its possibly the anti of those other sounds and i love it. In between songs there are snippets of radio talk, though fictitious, could easily be mistaken for real radio drivel. Note: if a track is labeled "Hidden Track" doesnt that defeat the purpose? Id like to harp on more but ive got popcorn waiting in the microwave...

The house that Army Man built (and lost most all respect with), 3DO,has quite a band of marry men and women assembled to work on their next big game, The Four Horsemen of the Apocolypes. 3DO infamous for making horrible games and horrible systems had at one point made a decent game or two. Maybe just two. Its been a long time, i cant remember.

Hello all you people out there that are reading this. What's that you say? You're not reading this? Fair enough! Anyway, thought I might get in here and write something that's been on my mind. My director. This guy is wacky crazy. He's on Zoloft, which for those of you that don't follow the hip and happenin' world of the pharmaceutical industry, is a little pill you take to balance your seratonin levels. In other words, it makes you NOT CRAZY!! It's for those that have a bi-polar disorder, and man... this guy... whoosh! Now here's the even wackier part. I still like him... a lot. I can tell just by listening to him that this guy has more knowledge about acting on stage in his stirrup bone, (the smallest bone in your body... it 's in your ear) than I do in my whole being. While he may fly off the handle and yell at people (never me... for some strange reason), I still find that the level of respect I have for him remains intact. I can truly tell he's trying to teach us how to be better actors. And with Shakespeare... it's perfect for me. Since this is my first of the Great Bard's plays I've ever been in (not counting Fifteen-Minute Hamlet), I'm learning a whole lot. Wish me break my leg as we open on the 28th!

 

I would also like to extend my condolences to the families and friends of the astronauts that were killed recently. My dad is an aerospace engineer, so he follows the United States space program closely. He's passed a lot of respect for those people that go out there and explore the unknown unto me. I salute the brave people of that craft, the Columbia. May you be in a better place.
