Messin' with a mans WALLET is like messin' with his EMOTIONS, man!

{bb: sory for the late edit, Ninja spells like he screws 7/25 Fri 3:38AM)

Ive not lost a wallet in YEARS. Its kind of a weird feeling. Its like i had so much shit in there that a part of ME is kinda been lost too. Im pretty sure now that its in the non-recovery department so ive been having to call certain institutions to set upon me rebuilding. First i call my bank. They are swell about the whole ordeal. Ask me for my social security TWICE. You know, just in case i might have been not myself but some weird-ass trying to reopen someone else's account so i could start an internet porn spree to end all porn sprees but only could remember the stolen social # once. The DMV was a little more difficult. They didnt even pick up the phone. Awesome. Im sure im going to have to drive down there and wait in a line where they can tell me to comeback another day and wait in another line. Awesome awesome. I guess its good that i still have my health and everything but dammit! I want my credit cards and my free pretzel back!

    Movies: Pirates of the Caribbean

Ok, so im a little bias towards pirates. Fine. I admit that. Hello. My name is Ninja. And i love pirates. With that said... THIS MOVIE R0X0R3D MY S0X0RZ! Depp of course made the movie. His swaggering, half-drunk speech was so much fun to listen to he coulda just made up his own lines the whole time, incoherently babbling and it would have still be a fun watch. The overall speed of the film was decent but so much epic happened before the latter scenes that the important last battles didnt seem that much more impressive. The twist was a little more than obvious but the dialogue helped it. I only noticed three references to the Disney ride though: 1. The three pirates in the cell coaxing the dog with the keys; 2. The fat lady on the barrel singing with accompaniment of other pirates; 3. The song "Pirates Life for Me". Overall there was the thrills and the chills and the snarky wit that was smart enough to be interesting but dumb enough to be a summer blockbuster.

    Movies: League of Extraordinary Gents

"The book was MUCH better than the movie". Heard that a million times before. The movie was DIFFERENT from the comics by Moore and ONeill anyways. Key characters were added and one removed. Some changed for copywrite purposes. I dont think one character Capt Nemo stayed true to the books of the same name. I honestly dont think the movie would have done as well IF the book and movie were more identical. Bucks over quality. Oh well, still a very fun watch and worth seeing.

Toys: McFarlane Toys' Queen Alien figure and Stikfas' Knight and Samurai
    (see above pics foos)
The Queen is huge, even before i took her outta the box. For 24 bucks? Whatasteal. The Stikfas are about 9-15 bucks apiece.

    Eats and Drinks: The Switch
My Bro turned me on to this stuff. My tastebuds have been on sort of a hiatus from exotics lately. My diet has been so standardized thanks to my budget that going out to eat is somewhat of a treat be it mexican or even McDonalds. What it is is this Soda that isnt really soda. Well, it is cause its carbonated but it has no added anything. Its 100% juice thats carbonated. Its really REALLY good. Its all healthy and shit too but thats besides the point. It can be bought at your local wholesale foodary.

    Movie Trailers!

Must... sleep... must... play games...
Sorry to all you 640x480 people out there, a little scrolling is in order in uh, order to take in the full beauty (?!) of todays post. Ahhhh... i really do invite anyone how wants some good overindulging of the buds of taste to checkout Dulce de Leche from Häagen-Dazs. This shit tastes like everything good in the world and more. Its really fucking amazing. If you manage to finish an entire little pint of it you will also be inclined to know that you just consumed 1200 calories. YES! You know its bad for you if it tastes good. And this shit IS the shit. By the by, a review for THIS from Shin should be your way soon.

Movies: Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.

How old is Arnold again? 55?! Surprisingly decent for a Terminator 3. Thats all that really needs to be said. Stupid, but entertaining fun. Oh, and they spent millions of dollars on this one scene. And for once, its worth it.

    TV: Monk.
Wow, this show kinda came outta nowhere. Tony Shalhoub (who also is producer for the show) plays this kinda über obsessive compulsive ex-detective that goes around solving crimes for the hell of it. Very VERY well writ and the bits are funny as hell. Ive seen two eps now and im convinced that if this show is going the way it is right now there's an emmy in store for sure. Not that awards, especially of the entertainment-orientation, are good and well ways to find how much something is suck or not (is) suck but it SHOULD win one. Shalhoub, per his usual quirkiness, is amazing. The only thing that kinda urks me is i can see this one falling through the cracks. I mean where are the hidden cameras and the 20-30-something pretties trying to both kill each and get it on each other? Still, check it out on the USANetwork at 10PM/9Central

    Gamecube: The GBA Player
Its a little like having a GBA only strapped to your gamecube all the time that plays on your TV. Wait, thats EXACTLY what it is. It even has a link port so you can hook up other GBAs to it. To help orient the screen properly to your TV there's a small series of borders to help decorate your screen with. Im down with the plain black one, function over prissy. The sweetest feature: It allows you to hook up your GBA/SP to a controller port via the GBA-GC Transfer cable and use your GBA/SP as a controller. Weirdest feature: it comes with a built in timer so you can play your GBA games AND cook a turkey AT THE SAME FUCKING TIME! Amazing. Of course since it is in function a GBA it is backwards compatible with everything Gameboy (Software, at least). At fifty bones its not too bad but i dont think its gonna be doing any SP replacing for me.

    Classic Games: Bonanza Bros

Greatest game based on stealing thats also two player on Genesis/MegaDrive ever. This one first hit arcades and emphasized steal and evasion over all out shootouts as this was a sure way to lose. Kinda like MetalGear Solid meets...uh, some guys who... steal. Yeah, anyways, its a really great game that has since then been ported to Genesis, Master system, Commodore 64 and Turbo CD (PC-engine CD). Recently it was chosen among other classic sega games to be remade for the PS2.

Here's a cool little blurb about Udon's new Street Fighter Comic. Hit up you SF lovin at the site too.

New shots and new info on Samurai 2 (Way of the Samurai 2).

Here is some NEW visitor email:
    From: MGSNinjaX@yahoo.com
Subject: Spice Girls Liev Vocall Concert!!!

Wait a minute... this one doesnt say anything. And its sent from... ME?! Wait, i dont remember sending MYSELF any email. Hmm, it comes attatched with this file called "runnme.exe". Well, sorry, uh, me. I cant run things like this on my Mac. My favorite is the person who DID send this put "Spice Girls Liev Vocall Concert!!!" as the subject. I LOVE IT! I think "Liev" is supposed to be "Live" and the extra "l" in "Vocall" means its EXTRA vocal! Something tells me some fuck head is trying (and failing) to send me a virus or something. Ooooor maybe in a fit of cocaine rage i emailed myself something to calm me down but sent something about Spice Girls and their "vocall" concert instead, which inadvertanly makes me more angry. What was i talking about again? Oh, yes, cocaine. Good stuff.

[Ninja here: thats supposed to be 1.5/5 knifes. Sorta like ramen. Only sharp. Aaand not eatible]
God Awful if I can only use two words to describe this game those would be them. Where to begin....well first off lets address the major issue of graphical glitches this game has some of worst hick-ups I've seen in quite some time. Examples...well here we go, the highly touted Ghoul II engine makes its appearance in under whelming fashion here on the box. Fist off the gore as some have speculated has been toned down from the first SoF you can no longer blow some ones head off with a .45 pistol, this is "to more closely simulate the urban combat experience." Well as much faith as I have in the realism of soldier of fortune I must protest that this game is supposed to be over the top and gory and not completely realistic, I mean shit you can blow an enemy away with one shotgun blast but can take a good 3-4 yourself with apparently no ill effects. Secondly how realistic is it to repair damage with a med-kit and be restored to full health in a matter of a second. Bottom line this game should be more over the top I didn't buy Ghost Recon (incidentally a awesome game) so don't talk to me about realism. Secondly there are clipping issues all over the fucking place guys going through walls guns sticking out through doors ect. ect. My biggest complaint is that about half the time when I kill someone and see the damage I've done to them as soon as the fall down the game thinks it needs to remap the downed character for whatever reason and so all those lovely wounds just disappear right on the character it self, no I'm not talking about the body disappearing but say you shot some one in the chest when they fall to the ground more often than not the chest wound will disappear when the hit the ground. All in all the A.I. is sub-par. and the control is slow I mean really slow. Bright spots??? Well Weapon selection though nothing new is good, and live play does hold interest for a while.
Bottom Line: Rent/Buy I can't recommend buy or rent only that you stay away, far away, if you must play this game get it on PC as you will get a much better experience, and cheaper too.

So this is the new place?
Alright, if you have found this place again then you are one of the few unlucky bastards whom have been emailing me to no goddamn end. Yes, i know MOST of you and you DONT have to explain so in your emails. I love all you people. But there's no fucking reason to email me two or three times ^_^|| Its funny, when i contacted Comcast they said that all of you revisiting this place would be forwarded to THIS place. Instead, im sure most of you have found, the place youve been is a Comcrap page of dumb. For this i am sorry. Its hard to tame the animal when you cant read it's motions. Oh, and is there a dentist in the house. My tooth feels like its trying to escape but back into my head is its route of choice. I think it has a pickaxe too.

    Movies: 28 Days Later.

Interesting how when you try working something from a realistic standpoint instead of trying to not make it campy. I wasnt startled too many times but i did love the atmosphere and its many changing ways in this one. I cant really explain this one too much as im tired and that tooth is getting worse by the minute. Just go out and see it. Its really quite good. Danny Boyle does it again.

Comics: The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (Vol1).
Buy it buy it buy it.
Ok so this is the breakdown. Written by Alan Moore (!) with art by Kevin O'Neill this book focuses around five famous litereary figures from our past. Well, 5 and a half - Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde are the same person. While trying to find more stuff on these, this team of misfits, i unearthed this amazing site. This place basically pics apart the entirty of the comics panel by panstaking panel and break it up for us non-über readers out there as well as uncover some hidden jokes and easter eggs. Great read. If you DO buy these books you'll HAVE to check out this site. The collected books are much easier to find now than the individual comics themselves but you miss out on some fantastic art that can only be found in each of the first 6 books. You also have the shame of having the label "NOW A MAJOR MOTION PICTURE" on the front too. Ive also been picking up the second volumes too. I think they are currently on book 5.

Classic Games: Super Street Fighter 2 (Megadrive/Genesis)

Ok, if it werent for the control the amount of ramen just above this writing would be at least two less. Comparable to the SNES/SF version the sound is inaccurate, twangy and weak. The 64 color pallet, though done surprisingly well, allow for that much more bleeding and Hue over-saturation. Everything from the intro to the slicker front ends are better on the Nintendo version. Everything but the one thing that counts in the end - control. Given you have a Sega-brand 6-button controller, the control is amazing. Best of all home systems (back then). The floaty-pad is the sure granddaddy to the Saturn controller as are the very responsive buttons.

    Movie Trailers! WEE!
    -The Punisher (Castle, Frank)
-The Last Samurai (Good? Who knows!?)
-The Cat in the Hat (Wow...)

-The Eye (This story about a dead girl and her huanting a video ta - wait this is something else.)
-Secondhand Lions (Ok, ok, so this one could be cheesy but i like Mr Caine.)
-Elf (what the hell?! Will Ferrell?)
    -The Incredibles (Pixar's newest)
