You can rest assured that more attention will be paid to communication
and outfit coordination for Senior Ball. But who will get to be the lucky
boy who gets to wear the tuxedo of the future? Who?!

- Learning to use Geese in Capcom vs SNK2. Its tough enough trying to
kick the shit outta some guy shooting fire outta his hands and ass
when you're named after a fowl. Whats up with SNK anyways? Duck King, Geese...
uh, Duck King Geese. Sheesh, thats like 2 and a damn half characters named
after birds that dont so much ATTACK as just BE. No, ducks and geese would
rather make a whole ruckus of fucking noise and float around all day long
than shoot fire outta anything. I dont get it. Well, obviously.
Movie: Matchstick
men

Nicolas Cage. Obsesive-compulsive.
Im pretty sure, even before Matchstick', the last 8 or nine times i even
mentioned the latter of these it was coupled with the former. The very
last movie he was in that i saw was Adaptation. Before that - Bringing
out the Dead. He seems to make it fresh every time he plays a wierd ass.
Even though Ridley Scott's take on the insides of a con are slick just
the undertow of Cage's frailties makes each con just that much more tense.
Funny as hell.
Movie: Underworld

- Ok, critics. Though this movie and The Matrix have many things in common
it is still silly to compare the two. And AGAIN, The Matrix DIDNT invent
wire-work or CG or leather or slick camera work OR fucking kicking people
in the head (read: GungFu) so STOP saying it bites too much offa Neo's
Big Adventure. Fuck. Anyways... This movie hit home with me. Not really
deep in any way, shape, form plus it tried to make up for it by throwing
all sorts of sloppy twists and turns but fun to watch. Not as "deep"
as something of this material could offer but not mindless like Equilibrium.
Noted: i DO indeed like Vampires (the idea not the asses who think they
are them) and Warewolves and guns and Kate
Beckinsale and i did indeed enjoy Equilibrium but i dunno, i was expecting
something more while i was watching it. With that being said - it was worth
the 9.50 in the ninja opinion.
GBA: Boktai

Metal Gear Fantasy Arms w/ Sun Sensor. Whew, there. Next.
... Ok, so that wasnt meaty enough? How about... This game packs a decent
amount of puzzle solving with gun modification action mixed with a dash
of Metal Gear Solid. Its so obvious that Hideo Kojima had his magic hands
in this when you first see a zombie do this: "!" You MGS fans
know what im talking about. Due to lack of actual time in my days i opted
to bring back Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, or "Ehfftahvee"
for short. Correct me if im wrong but isnt there like over 12 hours of
sun in a normal day like lets say in California? Where the hell do i FIND
it? Ya see, this game has a little UV (thats "über visualnessly")
ray sensor on it's backside used to "collect" the sun's POWERFUL
rays of ...sun. There are a whole bev of things you can and cant do while
you are under the harmful array of the sun's full spectrum arsenal. Mostly,
though, when the sun is basking on the OTHER side of the earth letting
all the other good boys and girls with Boktai to play you are left with
a slightly more limited approach to working through levels. You cant even
BEAT a dungeon without the sun. Kinda stinks but its life. Life with Boktai.
Ive gotten a little taste of the multiplayer modes. Aside from being able
to trade items and schtuff two to four lucky SP owners can "fight
it out" amongst each other. Sure beats hand to hand combat. PLUS you
dont have to find a broken bottle! See, Boktai is ALREADY a time saver.
Buy it.
The new Resident Evil trailer
is grrrrrreat! No link on Apple yet.

- So much random stuff is going on right now. I was asked to co-produce
this pilot called "Left Turn" written by my bud, Cas. Quite a
fellow. The script is pretty well laid out. Funny. Irreverent. Written
in about a day. Right as im writing this post im working on the production
sched' for principle shooting and rehearsal. Ive worked on a few shows
now and i must say this is the first time im sure a winner will come out.
Might by the uppers, i dunno. Speaking about drugs, ive been hooked on
this fucking gum from Starbucks. Yeah, i know... But they come in litle
tin cans and fucking utterly DESTROY all smell from your mouth except the
one that is the flavor. Awesome shit. Sorry for the loooooong hiatus. Classes
started up for me too. Ugh.
Comics: Alias
(not the official site)

Everytime i pick up a few of these i tell myself im only going to read
a few then go back to working on whatever im working on be it something
tedious like cleaning something or something important. But the same damn
thing always happens. I keep reading until i see what time it is and (curse)
find out that im way behind. These books are published under Marvel's MAX
Comics due to a whole lotta swearing and adult situations. Every ish has
a fucking amazing collage-cover and great art inside. Check em out. I think
there about 25 of them altogether. Kinda old and Marvel doesnt back issue
anymore.
DVD/ActionSciFiMovie:
Predator 2

This is a damned classic. Every male should own this. Cheap.
DVD/Film: The
Meaning of Life SE

Worth the making of and alternate versions of the songs ALONE. My all time
favorite Python flic. Yes, even over 'Holy Grail.
Gamecube: F-Zero

Some games claim to be fast. Some games claim to be intense. Those games
are the Snickers candy bar and F-Zero is the quadruple-layered, fudge with
fudge atop the fudge, sprinkles with sparklers sticking out the sides and
an oversized, shiny, metal spoon. Its good. The car edit and the multiplayer
wasnt enough for Sega's AmusmentVision to stuff in no... It had to include
arcade memory card support. Thats one of the ways you can unlock new parts
and new tracks. You bring your memory card to your local F-Zero havin'
arcade and you plug that bad boy in and TADA! Ok, so ive not done it so
that was more of a "uh... i really dont know what it does" 'TADA'.
Still this game begs to be played online. Maybe next time.
Sega's AM2 are making the next
Macross game. Yay.
So i have to post this
again.
DVD/Anime: Heat Guy J

Very well animated fight scenes and pacing. Uh, robots. Stuff. See it.
